ADF Architecture

ADF Architecture:-

• ADF Applications may be web based or standalone. 
• The image below gives a description about the ADF architecture. As described earlier, ADF follows MVC architecture. 
• For standalone applications i.e. Desktop applications for UI, ADF Swing components or Office may be used. 
• For web applications JSP, JSF or ADF Faces is used, which is supported by most browsers. 
• For Model layer you can use ADF Business Components or Web services or EJB (Enterprise Java Beans)
